On Saturday June 18th, Sue finished coaching the Juniors at her tennis club (West Heaton Tennis Club), changed and drove up the road to Yorkshire, where she was presented with the LTA Regional Award at the Ilkley Trophy.
Every year Ilkley hosts the Ilkley Trophy, which is one of the highlights of the summer grass court season showcasing world-class tennis in both the ATP Challenger and ITF women’s events.
It was such a lovely occasion to be recognised by the LTA and be presented with the Regional Award. Sue even got to step on grass of the centre court, when she joined the other award winners.
