What an incredible day at the LTA Tennis Centre!
It was a real privilege to be invited to coach alongside former WTA player Vania King, delivering a fun and engaging session for a wonderful group of Special Olympics athletes from a variety of sports!
We delivered adapted tennis activities packed with inclusive games, ensuring everyone had the opportunity to enjoy the session, develop new skills and, most importantly, have fun.
After the coaching session, we headed over to the Lexus British Open to watch some incredible wheelchair tennis. The day was made even more special with the chance to experience playing on grass and trying out one of Alfie Hewett wheelchairs.
A truly memorable day with the families going home with a goody bag containing a racket & ball and other tennis bits and bobs!
