What a great afternoon over at the Wirral Tennis Centre delivering LTA Schools Youth training course to primary & secondary special education teachers.
The teachers really enjoyed seeing how you can adapt the activity cards to make the tennis sessions inclusive…..from marking the spots Red & Blue(For players with colour blindness) making different sounds over the spots, hoops and cones to know where to send the ball to (For players who may have visual impairment) and using a variety of sensory balls & rackets so that everyone gets to have a go.
