What a fabulous evening last night!
LÜSÜ had the absolute pleasure of working alongside, Liverpool FC Foundation, Sense, Alder Hey, and Greenbank Sports Academy to deliver multi-sports activities for children and young adults with disabilities.
The sports hall was absolutely buzzing - full of colour, laughter, and lots of exciting equipment designed to engage everyone in fun and inclusive ways to send and receive a ball!
Half-time was extra special, with Liverpool FC bringing along the incredibly heavy UEFA Cup for everyone to see and take photos with......there were some very excited faces (including mine!).
In the second half, LFC treated us to a fantastic session packed with football skills, ball skittles, and a brilliant game of Kin-Ball, an absolute hit with everyone involved.
A huge thank you to the Alder Hey Physio team for their amazing energy and support throughout the evening.
And of course, this event wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful Jake from Sense, whose dedication and passion helped make it all happen.
We all had a fantastic evening, seeing the children and young adults having so much fun was the highlight. We already can’t wait for the next one!
