Blind (B1) Tennis Camp delivered by Lou at Islington

Louise had the pleasure of being invited to Islington Tennis Centre on Monday 25th February, to deliver a Blind (B1) Tennis Camp from 10am - 4pm. Six players, an army of volunteers and Mark Bullock (Middlesex Tennis Disability Officer) attended to create what was a great day of tennis.

The players were led through a variety of physical warm ups, and then developed their tracking skills, using different techniques and equipment. Players then worked with the volunteers, developing their hitting from a ground shot position. The Serve & Return were focused on in the afternoon, which led into matchplay scenarios.

A great day of tennis and activity.
