Wow, what a privilege and such an enjoyable experience, leading the first ever Junior Tennis Visually Impaired Tennis Camp on Saturday 23rd September. 18 children from across the UK attended the Tennis Foundation’s Junior day camp at Loughborough University. LUSU equipment was used to introduce the children to a range of games designed to improve their ball tracking and movement, and tennis drills using sound balls to introduce serving and groundstrokes. The festival ended in some competitive group games and chance for the parents to get involved in a game of beat the parent.
Every child received a free t-shirt, racket and sound ball from the Tennis Foundation, so that they could continue playing tennis.
