Inclusive Tennis Festival 2016
On Monday 7th November, LUSU Sports delivered an Inclusive Tennis Festival for Active Schools Leeds. 157 children from 17 schools across Leeds arrived, full of energy and anticipation for the 2 hours that lay ahead.

National Contribution Award
Louise has been awarded the Tennis Foundation 2016 National Contribution to Visually Impaired Tennis. Awarded for recognised work at local, regional and/or national level, the award is for people who drive the game forward by the Tennis Foundation, as a way of celebrating the game of VI tennis for those who are blind or partially sighted.

Delivering at the LTA Northern Coaches Conference
On 14th September 2016, Louise was invited to deliver on the LTA Tennis Northern Coaches conference. The session was titled ‘Inclusive Coaching’ and the workshops were designed to be practical, demonstrating how adapting or modifying equipment and activities can provide a fully inclusive environment - ensuring sport is for all.

During National Sports week, LUSU Sports were invited to deliver 30-minute training sessions to students from Years 6, 7 and 8. Throughout the morning, the students were also supported by their teachers and teaching assistants.
